Our healthcare customer is looking for hands-on Windows Server - Sr.
Systems Integration Engineer with Healthcare Industry experience preferred.
This role requires Senior level technical and analytical skills in Windows Server administration.
He/She will have expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues in enterprise Citrix environment, Including Web Interface, application enumeration and performance issues, Printing and provisioning issues, for internal and external clients.
Candidate will have superior people skills and be responsible for bridging the gap between business leaders and technical support staff.
The candidate should have a demonstrated support track record of a production Windows Server, Active Directory and Cloud infrastructure implementations, and possess both hypervisor and server hardware expertise.
This individual will provide operational guidance to technical teams deploying, supporting, and planning for new Server/Cloud Infrastructure.
He/She will have proven experience in environment design, implementation, support, and functionality testing of virtualized computing environments.
Customer is looking for a candidate to help stabilize current environment as well as Architect environment for the future.
Experience with web technologies, application servers, portal servers, middleware, enterprise application integration, databases, security, performance & scalability.
ROLE
Responsibilities:
Support operations and project work for Windows Server, Cloud Infrastructure, and Active Directory Resolve and complete ITIL incidents and request tickets in a timely manner.
Communicate results as needed internally and with the customer Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues in enterprise Citrix environment, Including Web Interface, application enumeration and performance issues, Printing and provisioning issues, for internal and external clients.
Proactively designed and implemented several process improvements including; change management, Problem management and root cause analysis, Governance scorecard, Patch and Inventory management, and Audit responses.
Help to build, manage, and execute IT server infrastructure roadmap.
Recommend and prioritize upcoming projects, Host, attend, and contribute in internal and customer facing meetings as needed Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new server builds and changes to existing computer systems and software packages Identify, analyze and evaluate alternative technology design solutions for complex projects.
Ensure that Best Practices are implemented and maintained across infrastructure platforms Provide leadership and direction to more junior team members Build and sustain effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams (e.
g.
, Storage, Network, and Data Backup) in an effort to maximize the effectiveness of the server teams you lead BASIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) Preferred or CCP, CCNA, CCIE, CCNP/CCDP with relevant experience is also acceptable VMware Certified (VCP) Microsoft Exchange Certified Engineer (MSCE) Microsoft Exchange upgrade and migration 2007, 2010, 2013 Broad understanding of an array of technologies and their use, such as:
Windows Server, Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy, PKI certificates, O365, the System Center suite, SQL Server, SharePoint, and WSUS.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Healthcare Industry Preferred Architecture experience a plus, Must be interested in long-term assignment 5
years of experience across the entire enterprise data center stack from the hardware to the application layer at major consulting firm or systems integrator 5
years of large scale Active Directory experience 5
years of experience in clustered systems 5
years of Server / SAN storage experience, VMWare/VCenter administration experience Windows Server/Citrix administrator experience Functional understanding of and experience with Router, Switch, Firewall and Load Balancers for basic server network troubleshooting alongside Network engineers Patch Management experience.
Capacity & Performance Management experience Backup & Tape Library System experience Anti-Virus installation, maintenance, VDI/Enterprise Mobility experience Hyper-V, Business Continuity Disaster Recovery (BCDR) plan and design a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
