in addition to its normal channels, the center also receives medications from donors.
The Pharmacy Teach, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, will handle the sorting, labeling, storing, and distribution of such medication.
The Pharmacy Tech will also refer any patient questions to the Registered Nurse.
Essential Functions Performs job duties collaboratively with health center management and exercises good judgement.
Fosters and promotes a culture of service excellence and accountability with focus on patient safety.

Complies with organizational policies and procedures.
Supports pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.
Aids health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering basic questions and requests, and referring technical questions to the Registered Nurse - Maintain in-depth knowledge of the 340B program, including compliance, eligibility, and inventory management, to support our FQHC's objectives.
- Identify eligible patients and prescriptions for the 340B program in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, receiving, and documentation.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, with a keen focus on HIPAA compliance and 340B program integrity.
Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Receive medications ordered and /or donated.
Takes charge of the sorting, labeling, storing, and distribution of such medication.
Maintains records of medications received, processed, and distributed.
Creates and maintains pharmacy inventory report Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.

While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following - Use standard office equipment and access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.

Employee is entitled to two ten (10) minute breaks, one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
Employee is required to take a minimum 30 minute break for lunch after four (4) hours of work.

Will occasionally be asked to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full time position.
Clinic hours at from 7:
30 am to 6:
30 pm Monday to Saturday.
Work schedule will be 40 hours weekly within the clinic schedule with occasional approved overtime.
